How does your company monitor and evaluate the social impact of your programmes? The ACSEP Training Programme: Social Impact Measurement is a series of training sessions for practitioners who are keen to improve the way they measure the impact of their social programmes.
On 30 January, ACSEP conducted the third session that focused on Key Impact Indicators, facilitated by ACSEP Research Fellow Dr Frank Hubers.
This session welcomed 25 participants, practitioners from foundations, social enterprises and government agencies.
For four hours, the participants learnt how to formulate and select indicators to measure social performance, and putting their knowledge to practice with the different case studies provided.
“The programme was very well received, with a wide variation of participants’ background which further boosted interaction. I look forward to conducting the last and final session of the training programme,” said Dr Hubers.
The participants also commended the inclusion of the case studies in the session, saying that the cases added realism and were beneficial for their learning.
The fourth and final training programme, Control Groups and Counterfactual Thinking, will be held on 26 February.
