On the second day of the Global Network Week, the MBA students, led by Associate Professor Nitin Pangarkar, Department of Strategy & Policy, visited Asia Pacific Breweries, the maker of home-grown Tiger Beer, to find out more about the company.
The host of the visit, Venus Teoh, Marketing Director, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore, gave the visitors an overview of the company’s organisation structure, history, global footprint, corporate strategy for Singapore, and corporate sustainability initiatives.
She also explained the consumer market in Singapore, adding that the brewer is looking to expand its customer base with new flavours. After her talk, the students went on a guided tour around the Asia Pacific Breweries’ brewing facilities.
