Farming start-up brings innovation to rural China

An innovative agricultural business formed by six NUS EMBA alumni in southwest China aims to change the face of Chinese farming and improve the lives of rural communities.

Although they are from a variety of backgrounds ranging from real estate to IT, they feel they have a common dream they can realise.

They believe they can create jobs for farmers in rural areas, so that these places would no longer just be populated by the elderly and the very young, as farmers are forced to seek jobs in cities.
