NUS tops rankings in Asia again

Times Higher Education (THE) ranked NUS as the best university in Asia again! We were Numero Uno in 2016 and again this year. Not only that – at the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject, Business and Economics were among the top 20 subject areas ranked for NUS at 16th! THe other three were Computer Science; Engineering and Technology; and Physical Sciences.

EMBA alumni conquering Lop Nor desert in 10 days

Two Executive MBA (Chinese) alumni spent 10 days instead of the planned six days, navigating through the tough terrains of Xinjiang’s Lop Nor. With the original route of 3,500KM, it stretched to become over 5,000KM with multiple backtracking that resulted in almost twice the amount of time taken to complete the crossing of the desert. We speak to Zhang Runbin and Liu Wuli who recount their experience driving across this infamous “no man’s land”. Both had previously completed the Gobi Desert Challenge together and love the great outdoors.

Shaping the future in Fintech

CGIO Masterclass Series Family Business Forum

More than 50 business leaders from the region including Malaysia and Indonesia attended a Masterclass Series on Family Business in a forum organised by the Centre for Governance, Institutions and Organisations (CGIO) of NUS Business School on Friday, 20 October 2017.

The lectures were delivered by four of NUS Business School’s faculty members: Senior Research Fellow Alex Capri, Professor Chung Chi Nien, Associate Professor Lan Luh Luh, Professor David Mitchell Reeb. The forum concluded with a panel discussion moderated by Associate Professor Lawrence Loh.
